Greater Noida
The project site is located in greater Noida, in a group housing society. Area of the apartment is 900 sq ft which was having two bedrooms, living room, kitchen and bathrooms.
The clients wanted the interior of the spaces to be redesigned as per their requirements and wanted a theme which is not monotonous and boring. Moreover, the project was to be completed in a very tight budget.
With little architectural alterations, new layout added functional elements to the space. Foyer was made inviting, temple and display unit was created, bedroom was added with new wardrobe, another bedroom was added with a workstation along with the cabinets.
The interior palette consisted of warmer tones by taking the advantage of abundant natural light, having a tone of green as an accent, centered around the existing flooring, which was to be retained the use of straight lines give the space a modern and stronger look. Sleek geometry is used in the furniture that makes the spaces appear larger. Slight use of curves and pendant lights act as a contrast and add elegance to the bold theme.
Kitchen was to be designed completely with the modular fittings. White quartz countertop and concrete finish backsplash are merged with the theme of green.
The bespoke furniture was crafted at the site. Metal in black finish and stone countertops are used to complement the warm theme and add as a natural element to the space. Natural timber, rattan etc. are some other natural elements that are used in shaping the indoors.
The project aimed at serving the client’s needs and improving the functionality and aesthetics of the interiors.
